How do I disable the voice-over of search results in Google Search on my PC or laptop?

 Quick Guide: How to Mute Google Search Tab or Mute sound for any web page 

Option 1

Right‑click on the tab where Google Search is open and select ‘Mute site.’ The voice narration will be disabled only for this site (only for Google Search). 

 

🔊Other sites (like Facebook, YouTube, etc.) will still have sound.

This method can be used to mute the sound of any individual website. 

Option 2

Go to the lower right corner of the browser page of Google Search → Settings → Search Settings → Other settings.

Turn off options like 🔊 “Spoken answers” (or “Read results aloud” or “Voice output.” )
